Overo

Overo is a dominant white pattern with horizontal spots that don't cross over the back of the horse. It's also known as frame overo thanks to this, since it looks like the spots have a frame of color around them.

Horses with two copies of the gene will be completely white and will die as foals after birth thanks to a disorder called overo lethal white.
