Black

Black is one of the three base colors of a horse. These horses have a black coat, mane and tail.

A black horse has at least one copy of the dominant extension gene (Ee or EE) which makes the coat black and no dominant agouti (aa) otherwise the black would stick to the points, resulting in a bay.
